Our cherished founder, the late Mr. Bhimrao Dada Mahadik, is the foundation of the Bhima Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana and a major driving force behind the rapid expansion of the entire Bhima Group. It's undeniable that he could step into a variety of leadership responsibilities. He made a strong and steady ascent through the ranks of the farmer community to become the founder of Bhima Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. on the business front. He enhanced productivity, streamlined processes, and generally raised the efficiencies of the factories.

The visionary leadership, represented by the late Mr. Bhimrao Dada Mahadik (Dada), emerged from Yelur Sangali to better their situation and secure a means of subsistence in 1966, when the situation of farmers and agriculture was terrible throughout areas like Solapur that had been plagued by drought, with low yields, insufficient guidance, and inadequate farming infrastructure. The only person the community had for the farmers suffering from the drought turned out to be Dada.

The production of sugarcane accelerated dramatically starting in 1974, resulting in greater yields and the industry's fastest expansion. Additionally, farmers were given the opportunity to sell their cane for the highest rates obtainable in the buyer's market. In response to this situation, Dada constructed the foundation for the MSEB substation and got the license for the Sarkar Karkhana with the help of intermittently authorized support from the late Mr. Vasant Dada Patil, the former chief minister.

In the same year, Bhima Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. was established through Dada's important efforts and a lot of devotion. Due to its extraordinarily rapid expansion and top-notch production, sales, and marketing activities, the Bhima mill had become one of the most acclaimed sugar mills in the world by the year 1982.
